Bill Westfall began his law enforcement career with the Alaska State Troopers in 1968 and has served with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, taking an early retirement as a deputy director when assuming the director’s position of the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in 1986. He has focused his study and taught and continues to teach in the law enforcement leadership, management and liability arenas for more than 30 years.
Mr. Westfall received his BA in Criminology cum laude from Florida State University and has completed course work toward a graduate degree in Public Administration. He is also a graduate of the well-respected FBI National Academy where he was selected as class spokesman for the 141st Session.
Bill is a former Marine and Vietnam Veteran and sincerely believes that “if you do this work properly there is nothing more noble you will do with your life.”
